Scrabble's definition makes cows and horses and pigs and deer vegans! :-)

I'm glad the game added VEGAN and VEGANISM, even though the ideology is based on ethics and includes much more than just what one eats. And even if it's ungrammatical to say "one that...." Hey, Scrabble: it's "one who..."!

Good for Evolve Campaigns for catching the misuse of the word "humane."

And good for you, Bea, for finding it. Figures: You're the findingest finder ah ever done seed. :-)

Cheating is an accurate description of all hunting, fishing, trapping, breeding/raising. These practices all unfairly use a human's advantages and "rights" to murder a harmless fellow-being.

On a tangent: I'm wondering if predatory practices were EVER truly "necessary." It seems to me the same principle that works today would've worked throughout the ages -- namely, when one loves all life and trusts that of all one's needs will be supplied by LOVE, there is no need to take from another, to cheat another, to violate another.

So it's not that there ever WAS a need to cheat and harm another. There wasn't then, and there isn't today. The good news is that now more of us are awakening to that simple truth. And our awakening is showing us the unlimited provision available for all individuals of all species when we do NOT do violence to one another, in thought, word, or deed.

Hi CQ! Hi veganelder! My bad... Totally thought I was caught up on comments.

The surest way to get me to reply promptly on line is when I hear someone say dumb stuff... Of course that never applies to you two!

As always - Thanks for stopping by and living honestly. <3
