The Dream - An Ode to Freedom for All Animals

PETA does a lot of things I shake my head in grief and disbelief over... Every now and then they do something right.  This is one of them: The Dream

You and I agree re PETA...sort of like the whacky relative that sometimes voices a truth so exquisite it staggers you...

Thanks for sharing this.

A yes... The kook with an occasional gem of wisdom - That's peta alright! And I'm never one to throw out the baby with the bath water. Everything goes through my sieve.

Thanks for your comment - Always welcome.

Excellent video! This is one I can show to friends who can't or won't watch the undercover videos or some of the more graphic PETA videos. Thanks for posting.

Ooops - Sorry Debbie - Your comment went to spam by accident...

Glad you like the video. I agree that this is one that's easy to share. A great message! I can't for the life of me figure why the world resists it so. Oh well - We'll just stay at it till they do!
Thanks for your comment!

I agree, too -- refreshing video from PETA and one that's much easier to share with those who won't watch more hard-hitting exposés. The line "for us, it's only a meal" strikes me every time. It's particularly poignant for me when I see people killing or hunting small animals like doves or Japanese Quail, where multiple lives are thrown on a single plate for one meal, one person's appetite. It's impossible to reconcile that trade off.

Oh no!!! Not doves!?! The quintessential symbol of love and peace! How awfully sad for our species.

I'm with you on that line that "for us, it's only a meal": "Poor animals! How jealously they guard their pathetic bodies…that which to us is merely an evening’s meal, but to them is life itself." —T. Casey Brennan

Thanks for your gentle hand in changing all that...
